First swimming classes without the parents! The teacher is a little strange and talks with a dragon/drill Sargent like voice. He make sure the kids were always looking at him and if they were not, he splashed them. I think it kind of scared Abby a little bit.
Hayden dunked, Abby was not so sure about it, even though we have seen her do it before. As much as we think they are like twins all the time, this was the first time in a long time that their age difference was visible. Since turning 5, Hayden has been a lot more outgoing and less shy. After having a fun week in the pool when we were on vacation where he became very confident in the water, we could tell at class. Hayden did anything asked of him. At the end, the all stood in a line to jump into the 3 foot part of the pool. Some kids needed a lot of assistance, one kid wanted his hand held, but Hayden, he said he did not need help. He just jumped right in, went underwater and came right up into a stand. He is so brave! We have to remember that he is a year and half older than Abby even though this is a age 3-5 class.
