All week, Hayden has been eyeing the baseball players who are playing in the field across the street. He has asking to play and throwing the ball in the backyard with dad is just not good enough. So tonight, he packed up his backpack with his bat, glove and baseball and we headed to the field.
The boys played on one of the empty fields for a while. Then they walked over to watch the big boys play on the big field. While Hayden was watching one of the boys practice in the batting cage. When they were finished, the coach invited Hayden into the batting cage and he though some balls for him to hit. Hayden LOVED it! Unfortunately, we realized that Tee Ball started last week. We will have to keep an eye out for fall ball so he can play on his own team.
Abby has been practicing and can sing the Frozen, "Let It Go" really well. We listen to the song at home a little, but she comes home from school knowing more of the song everyday. She said one of her friends is teaching it to her.
Abby has learned how to swing herself at the park. After a little push, she is able to keep herself going! Yeah!
