Garden

Today our mission was to build a garden and plant some vegetables!

 There were a lot of worms to be found while digging in the dirt. At first, they loved to put them on their shovels, then Abby got brave enough to be the first to touch one. She even got brave enough to hold one in her hand. Daddy is ready to take her fishing!

 Eventually Hayden warmed up to the worms, but never really liked them. This worm is around a stick he is holding. That is as far as he got.

 

My little helpers, helped to spread the dirt and plant the seeds! Every time we opened a new bag of seeds, Abby asked if we got to eat them. She didn't understand that we had to wait for the veggies to grow. This will be a fun learning summer watching them all grow and eventually eat.
