Abby had minor outpaient surgery today to remove a cyst on her back. She was a real trooper this morning since she couldn't eat her breakfast. But she didn't want her name band on her ankle.
One handsome daddy! We got to go back with her until she was sleeping. That was the hardest part of the whole day :(
Abby was in surgery for about 15 minutes and then we were able to be with her again while she woke up. They said she would be a little groggy all day and would only want to sit on the couch. They also said she would be in a little pain so give her medicine as needed. They said she should be back to her old self after a good night sleep. Well not Abby, we were home by 10:30am and as soon as she got in the house she asked daddy to chase her. She was bouncing around like her typical self. She never complained of pain and enjoyed her special day with mommy and daddy!
