We started out Saturday going to the last soccer practice, getting mini donuts at the farmers market and then going to the open house at the fire station. Hayden wore his fire boots and loved every minute participating in all the activities they had!
Sunday, we drove around to find some new fun. We planned to find a new park, but found this fun farmers market instead. Hayden and Abby had a blast in the moon bounce!
Then it was time for mommy and daddy to have a little fun. We went to the Vikings-Redskins game with Brendan's sister Stephanie and husband Kurt! Even though I was not happy with the outcome, we had a really great time in the front row, right behind the Vikings bench!
In the picture below, it shows that the Minnesota fans really came out to support the Vikings. Driving in, I saw so much purple, I was proud. Here are just a few Vikings fans in the crowd. I even sat next to a man born in Mississippi and now living in Washington DC. He had a Vikins jersey and says he has never been to Minnesota but has been a fan since he was a kids. I don't get it, but I will take it!
The only sad part about going to the game was leaving my kids at home. It was the first time they have had a babysitter, but I knew they were in good hands with their cousins, Madison and Carson. After seeing these pictures, I know they too had a good night.
