It is so wonderful to live just outside Washington DC and we are able to go to the National Zoo, a wonderful free zoo. The weather was wonderful and the zoo was busy. Hayden has been getting interested in animals and animal sounds lately. Here he is looking at the cow, moo was the first animal noise he learned.
Here he is with the llama. Hayden loved looking at all the animals and everytime we left one animal to go to the next, Hayden would say and wave bye-bye.
Hayden and daddy by the elephant. The zoo has a new big elephant area. We got to see them rome around. This is the latest aminal that Hayden can identify by name.

Abby enjoyed herself too. She was very talkative while we were walking around! She stayed awake the whole time, and then fell asleep as soon as we put her in her seat in the car.
