The night before we headed out for our annual trip to the beach, this was the fortune in the cookie Abby opened for dinner. I sure hope this will be right because our last trip ended up dealing with the flu :(

Abby made a new friend at the mini golf course!
Surfs Up! Hayden loved his new boogie board, but he barely put his feet in the water. He was watching a boy surf right next to us. The boy would stand up near Hayden and then run into the water and catch a wave. Hayden would wait at the ready with him like he was going to go in after him, but Hayden only watched him run in!
This is the morning view I look forward to every time we go!
Hayden really wanted to go to see a lighthouse while we were at the beach. So we got in the car and drove to the Bodies Island lighthouse only to find it closed because of the government shutdown. Hayden was so disappointed that we could not even get close. Later that night, we found a lighthouse at the mini golf course and he was as happy as if we had actually made it to the big one!
