It might not look like it here, but this was not the best trip to the Outer Banks we have had. We were so happy to get to the beach on Friday to celebrate our Anniversary. Before this picture, we went to have a nice dinner to celebrate. Just as the food arrived, Abby got sick all over the booth of the restaurant. She then appeared fine and we thought it was just car sick. Off to play mini golf...as soon as we paid, Abby got sick again (they gave us a rain check for the next day). We decided to go for a walk on the beach since Abby still seemed fine...
...lets just say Abby was not finished and around 8pm, Hayden got in on the action. We needed a lot of extra towels and a change of sheets to make it though the night. We also found a second purpose for our beach buckets! IT WAS A LONG NIGHT. The next day, everyone appeared to be good. Abby was herself, Hayden was just tired (or so we thought).
We decided to attempt the dolphin tour since we bought our tickets before all the tummy issues started.

Both of the kids napped for the 2+ hour boat ride and we did not find any dolphins (we got another rain check for our next vacation).
After the boat ride, we had more fun on the beach and at the pool. We decided to get cleaned up and try our Anniversary dinner for a second time. Just as we pulled into the parking lot, Hayden's got sick again. So back to the hotel for room service. At least I still got to eat my dinner over looking the water. We did get a good night sleep and this time, everyone seems to be back to normal...I hope!
