Hayden picked out the big tree this year! He was sure this was it so we trusted his judgment!
Abby has enjoyed hanging our snowflakes.
She likes to hang them, take them off and rehang them any chance she gets. Who knew this could keep her entertained for hours!
Hayden and Abby also picked out their own little tree this year to have upstairs. We got some small balls for this tree and I let them do it all by themselves! (If anyone knows of balls that don't break when dropped, I would love to know where you got them.)
Mommy helped with the bow on top and a few balls at the top, but I must say, they did a great job all by themselves!
Then, after everyone was in bed, I worked on the big tree. Of course, I wanted to go big this year since we are in the new house. Well, we could not get the tree to stand up and stay up. Then we realized, we had never had a tree this big and the stand wasn't big enough. Off to Home Depot for a big tree stand. Now I know why people go fake trees :) But when it was all finished and I walked downstairs in the morning to smell the fresh pine, I knew it was all worth it!
