Fun Fall Day!

It is that time of year, the leaves are flying and we have to pick them up!

Of course you can always rely on Hayden to help! Hayden even took his hand at the rake and did a really good job raking too! Abby picked up a few handful and helped too, but it really wasn't her thing.

Water Break!

Finally, we finished! Today was 17 bags and we only did the front yard. That doesn't count the 7 bags from last weekend. Brendan blew the leaves into piles and then I bagged them up while he entertained the kids. I think I deserve a back rub. Really, I told Brendan that what he saved in hiring this out, he should take me to the jewlery store (he thought I was joking).

The yard looks great today, but it won't last long, look at all the leaves that still have to fall. I guess this is something you don't realize when you buy a house in early spring. Ok, we do love it, look at all the colors it brings to the house. The red one in the back is just beautiful.
