What do you do when daddy's gone, we make cookies for him! We missed daddy all week and are really happy he is coming hom tomorrow! We decided to make cookies and Hayden was really excited to help, he had never made cookies with me before. He was a gerat helper! Thanks to Grandma Bea for this wonderful recipe!

Ready for the oven!
Yum Yum. Enjoying his cookie. We shared this one, then I went to clean some dishes and came back to find that he was eating another one. I left again to take the second batch out of the oven and came back to find that he was having another one. I quickly had to distract him from the good cookies and give him some lunch. While he ate, I packed the cookies up and hid them!
And what was Abby doing while we were baking? Well, she was awake when we started. I guess she figured if we weren't going to let her help and she wasn't going to get to eat any of them, she might as well just skip it. She slept through the whole thing. When she woke up, she was happy to learn that she still had a snack left and started eating like she never missed a beat :)
