Hayden loves to give his sister hugs and this morning, he seemed to give her tons of hugs over and over again. He is really getting to be very gentle with her.
Today we decided to get the kids dressed up and go see Santa at the mall before the lines get to crazy. Here is Abby in her cute dress she got from Grandma Miller!
Waiting in line to see Santa, I thought this was a cute place to take a picture, Hayden was scared of the fake snow and would not stand by himself, so we took the picture together.
I thought this picture was so cute, Hayden wanted to go one the escalator over and over again. They rode it up and down a few times. Hayden looked so cute, like a big guy just holding daddy's hand as they went up and down.

Well this was the best picture we got. In all the other pictures, Hayden's face looked more scared and his arms are out stretched reaching for me to come get him. Here is my my advice to all families taking their kids to see Santa for the first time (I actually thought of this while standing in line). Since Hayden is really into reading stories and then thinking it is so cool to see things in his stories in real life, we should have read him stories with Santa in them and then he would have thought it was really cool to see him in person. I guess I will try this theory out for the Easter bunny.

After Santa, we went back to daycare to help celebrate Ms. Hilda's retirement. She was Hayden's baby room teacher for the first year he was there. She still says hi to Hayden a lot of mornings when we walk in and he loves to give her a hug. We are so sad that she will not be there when Abby starts because we really loved the way she took care of Hayden. We will miss you Ms. Hilda!

Just before this picture was taken, all the other kids at the party were around them for a picture, then Hayden stayed on her lap through the entire presentation that followed.
