We flew in on Thursday and right from the airport, we went with grandma and grandpa Ludie to see my sister and her family. We met at Famous Dave's for dinner.

Then we had a fun party at the house with a lot of friends and babies! It is amazing how all of our lives are changing.
We had a great trip and loved the surprise of daddy coming in Saturday night and flying home with us on Sunday. This was not the plan but Brendan missed a connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Washington. The airline re-routed him through LA, but he asked to be routed through Minneapolis to meet up with us and get his record breaking fish back on ice for a little bit. Well, he got to the Luda house at 2:45am without luggage (or fish). Then we had to leave the house at 5am to catch out flight to Washington. The luggage and fish did not get delivered to the house until midnight that night. The fish was surprisingly still pretty frozen and not stinky like we were expecting.

A belated thank you for the words of encouragement and for following my blog. It is so amazing to see just how far a network of friends and family can stretch! I know it has been forever since we've seen each other, but I had to drop you a line to tell you that your family is beautiful and it is great to hear everyone is doing well!!
